Phones cost 50 scrap at the Outpost. Each has its own random number, set when you place it. Picking it up with a hammer and placing it again changes it.

Connect power to the Power jack, about 1 volt is enough. An unpowered phone rings but you cannot answer it.

Monument numbers are in the directory. For player numbers you must ask in chat.

The Call Passthrough jack gives power while it rings, so you can drive a light or an RF transmitter and a pager.

Contacts are lost when you pick the phone up, so write numbers down.
