AUTOMATION

Topping up the tool cupboard by hand gets old fast. A conveyor, a few boxes and 2 rW of power can do it for you. These six builds go from simple to clever. All of them draw the same small amount of power, so the extra parts cost you nothing to run.
BUILD PARTS WHAT IT GIVES YOU
Basic 1 box, 1 conveyor, small battery The box acts as extra storage for the cupboard. The conveyor tops up each item to its max setting
Basic+ 3 boxes, conveyor, storage monitor, light Six times the storage. The conveyor only runs when a slot has emptied, and a light shows when it is restocking
Intermediate Shared storage, check conveyor, transfer conveyor, storage monitor Pulls from your main sorting system. The check conveyor waits until stock falls below a minimum
Intermediate+ Storage monitor, counter, conveyor A counter waits for a set number of emptied slots, then one refill runs
Advanced Everything above plus a smart alarm Drop box in, tool cupboard topped up for you. A second check conveyor raises the alarm if stock runs critically low
Advanced+ Timer, blocker, conveyor, small battery Waits on purpose so interior walls can lose a little health, then repairs them in one go. See the decay and repair guide
Basic: set a max amount for each upkeep item. The conveyor tries to hold that amount in the cupboard at all times. Wire its pass-through output back to its own turn-on input so it restarts after a server restart. Never switch it off.
