A handmade fishing rod costs 200 wood and 2 rope, or 80 scrap at Stinky Pete's. Five worms cost 50 scrap. Worms also drop from grown hemp, berries, mushrooms and vegetables. Put the rod on your hotbar, open the inventory and drag bait onto the rod. You can fish in any water, even inside safe zones. Fishing Village and Bandit Camp have quiet spots.
