BUILDING
1 MIN READ
A water-level garage keeps kayaks, rowboats, RHIBs and small subs ready for the Cargo Ship or an oil rig at short notice.
Materials in the example build: about 10,155 stone and 2,050 wood, a tool cupboard, 3 garage doors, 2 sheet metal doors, 6 locks and 1 high external stone gate.
Place the stone gate so its peeping hatch sits just above the average water level. Tide and weather move it.
Place two square foundations flush against the gate and two triangles beside them. Check you can put a cupboard on every foundation.
Add a side airlock that opens faster than a garage door.
Give the cupboard its own closed room so strangers cannot claim the garage.
Leave room left and right for storage, power and a bed.
