Clans give your group shared ranks, chat and a score. You need a clan table to run one.
Craft a clan table after learning Workbench level 1. The Outpost and Bandit Camp each have one.
Open the clan screen with J, at the clan table, or in the inventory clan tab. Choose a tag and create. The name cannot be changed later.
To invite someone, face them and hold E for about 3 seconds while you are both near the clan table.
The default limit is 100 members.
Ranks are yours to rename, reorder and create. Each rank has its own permissions: set message of the day, edit banner, read logs, invite, kick, promote, demote and set player notes.
Clan chat is magenta and works like team chat. It stays on one server.
