Server settings (such as 2x rates) are not applied. Change only what your server really changes.

Press Play and use the browser tabs: Official, Community, Modded, Friends, Favourites, History. Check the banner, population, map and last wipe. Aim for under 100 ms ping.

Modded filters include Role-play, Build server, PvE and Minigame.

To use an address, press F1 and type connect IP:PORT. The default game port is 28015 but servers differ.

Star a server to find it in the Favourites tab. You can also use Steam's View, Game Servers list.

Connection failed: check the server is online and both versions match, then restart Steam.

EAC timed out: verify the game files in Steam, then restart Steam.

Server full: wait in the queue, look for a skip-queue option, or choose another.
